Agios Nikolaos is situated in the Messinian part of Mani in the most southern part of Peloponesse.
The area is rich in history, culture and nature with stunning beaches, views and a deep blue sea. The village has a small boulevard with lots of small bars and taverns.
In the neighbourhood of Agios Nikolaos you will find the villages of Kardamili and Stoupa. Stoupa is well-known because of the making of the movie “Zorba the Greek”.
Kalamata is also near by. The city offers many cultural events and is ideal for shopping.
South from Agios Nikolaos you will find Dyros Caves a stunning labyrinth of sea caves.
Mani is absolute worth visiting!
We are a 45 minute drive from Kalamata airport, a major tourist hub with links from all over Europe.
Flights are also available from across Europe to Athens all year round. We can arrange transfers for guests or give you advice on links to Athens for a comfortable coach ride to Kalamata. There are regular buses from Kalamata to Agios Nikolaos.
Motorways from Athens airport via Corinth are first rate and continue all the way to Tripoli. The road is slower from Tripoli across the mountains. It improves at Kalamata and is very good for the rest of the journey to Agios Nikolaos.
